Positive: Nice, small, but quite comfortable house located in the mountains with very nice views.

Negative: The reservation process was quite confusing, house owners insisted on getting sensitive credit card details via WhatsApp to process deposit pre-authorization outside of Booking.com, which was neither safe nor convenient. The house was quite dark with very small windows.

Positive: We loved the location. Wanlockhead is beautiful with walks right on the doorstep, sheep everywhere, and a friendly pub across the lane. The cottage was spacious and very clean. More than enough room for a family of 4 with a dog!

Negative: The only improvement could be upgrading the double bed mattress to a hotel standard. It was clean and new but not the most comfy.
